High School Athlete Recruiting Videos

As the school year comes to an end we at Fitz Media Productions find ourselves producing a number of high school athlete's recruiting videos. In the past few years, college recruitment has changed due to the advances in video and the internet. Recruitment videos have become an essential tool to all high school athletes who want to continue their athletic careers.

Recruitment videos bring the athlete to the coach and provide the needed exposure to as many college coaches as possible. In order to get recruited an athlete first has to be noticed. What coach can recruit an athlete if they don't even know they are out there?

It is important that the video itself is of the highest quality. If a college coach can't make out numbers and teams they move on to the next tape. Its unfortunate, but coaches in general are much to busy to search a tape for clues as to who is who. This is why Fitz Media Productions prides ourselves on creating professional videos that highlights an athletes abilities in all sports. Starting with filming we provide the professional edge an athlete needs. We customizes the athletes highlight video to exhibit their range of skills grabbing the coaches attention. We also provide full game footage, highlighting the athlete with an arrow or circle throughout the game so the coaches focus is kept on the athlete. Our final videos not only makes it much easier for college coaches to watch, getting an athlete recruited, they are also a keepsake for years to come.

May Thai

Wikipedia states that Muay Thai is a hard martial art from Thailand. It is similar to other Indochinese styles of kickboxing, namely pradal serey from Cambodia, tomoi from Malaysia, lethwei from Myanmar and Muay Lao from Laos. Descended from muay boran, Muay Thai is Thailand's national sport.

Today we at Fitz Media filmed a Muay Thai class here in NYC. The class looked like a tough but fun workout. Participants learned different fighting moves involving punching and kicking as well as using their elbows and knees. They also did push ups (not just any... the kind where you clap your hands while doing so), jumping lunges, and jumping jacks.

These classes were setup by our client for their employees. Not only are they encouraging their employees to take care of themselves they are also providing an opportunity for coworkers to interact outside of the office with one another. A different activity like this can inspire new ideas and teamwork. Our client is further capitalizing on this venture by using the footage we gather to create a promotional video for their company. Overall a fun and different project that we are excited to be working on. Who knows maybe we will even pickup some moves!!!

River Dell High School Lacrosse

We at Fitz Media have been fortunate enough to work with River Dell High School Boys Lacrosse team this season. They had a great season that was very exciting to film. The team ended up with a 14-4 record.

We are currently working on creating the season highlight reel for the team. One of the greatest attributes of video is the ability to look back at a season's accomplishments. Here is a brief video of John Sherlock's 100 point this season.
